To ensure Dublin’s continued growth and prosperity, it is imperative that a total transformation and modernisation of the electricity infrastructure is undertaken, infrastructure that is currently aging and reaching the end of its life.
In the initial phase of this ambitious project, 50km of cables throughout the city will be installed. Additionally, upgrades are scheduled for several substations to bolster and support Dublin’s electricity grid effectively. These measures are aimed at propelling Dublin into a sustainable future, enabling it to thrive while embracing renewable power solutions.
