MetroLink is a high-frequency, high-capacity railway line connecting Swords in north County Dublin to the southern periphery of Dublin City Centre. The proposed 19km metro service envisages approximately 11 km of tunnel network traversing through the city, encompassing 10 below-ground stations and five above-ground stations. Its design prioritizes integration with various transportation modes across the city to optimize user capacity and operational efficiency.
PMC were involved in the engineering design stage of the project, taking it from emerging preferred route status through evaluation and selection of preferred route, developing the scheme railway orders and obtaining planning approval.
